The 1970s called and they want my corduroy jumpsuit back. All jokes aside, this cheery number keeps me warm and snuggly in the cold. The bright color contrasts with gray winter skies and has turned some heads so far. I found this Mara Hoffman jumpsuit at Anthropologie on a Snow Day. Normally, I’m a size 2/4, but this is a size 10. This jumpsuit runs really small, so you’ll want to size up 2-3 sizes if you decide to purchase it. You can find it here on sale!
After I purchased this jumpsuit, I saved it for a windy but bright Sunday morning. I was feeling a bit restless that day, so I took myself out for coffee and a stroll in the Gulch. I swung by Milk & Honey for a Green Tea Latté and sipped it slowly as I enjoyed the sunshine and store window displays. The weather was so beautiful that I planted myself at a bench and dialed up my mom on my phone. Sitting outside with sunshine in January is such a treat! The dog-watching I experienced was pretty spectacular, too. I saw several fluffy dogs that stopped by my bench for a friendly petting. Overall, it was a lovely winter afternoon.
As for my lipstick, I stuck with my favorite red matte liquid lipstick. It’s called Nyx Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in Kitten Heels. I love the way the red contrasts with the mustard yellow. I’m smiling like this because my sweet husband was being such a great sport with the camera. He has such a knack for it, don’t you think?
So, tell me: would you wear this jumpsuit, too? How would you style it? What’s your go-to red lip color? Let me know in the comments.
