Style Story: Linen Overalls

A few weeks ago, I attended the Vintage Market Days at the Nashville Fairgrounds and did some small business shopping with my friend Andrea. As I perused the booths of antiques, candles, home goods, clothing, sundries, and provisions, I happened upon the Farmhouse Frocks booth and fell in love with all of their adorable pieces. One of the amazing women behind this brand, Felicia, was so friendly and stylish as she helped me find my size in the Rita Romper.

As we were chatting, she told me a bit about Farmhouse Frocks. Felicia mentioned that each piece is handmade in Amish Country in Ohio. The quality of cuts and fabrics reflect the hand-made aesthetic.  I love supporting small businesses, especially when I have an opportunity to meet the founders of the brand. If you need breezy, comfy, casual clothes for warm weather, definitely browse their site. Besides the Rita overalls, I’m also eyeing this Striped Tunic with a unique asymmetrical button detail.

I have been searching for a linen jumpsuit for over a year, ever since I saw hot little number on one of my favorite bloggers. The fit is roomy and comfortable. If you’re wondering about sizing, this piece is meant to be oversized. I got a medium because of my long torso. Besides the flowy cut, the linen material is breathable and lightweight for summer weather. These overalls also have huge pockets and adjustable overall straps for a custom fit. Lastly, the $119 price tag reflects the handmade design.

P.s. I paired a bright coral lip color to contrast against the beige jumpsuit. If you wear neutrals, go ham with your lipstick! I swiped on Hikari Lip Crayon in Mandarin, a spunky lip product I received in my Lip Monthly box from February.
