As you know by now, I subscribe to Lip Monthly, a $13 beauty subscription box with 4-5 lip products that arrives at my doorstep each month. This month, I received 2 lipsticks, one gloss, and one eyebrow pencil. Since it’s summertime, I picture myself wearing popsicle-stained lips and watermelon colors. To my delight, I received 2 super bright lippies.
Keep reading to see what I got in my Lip Monthly bag.
The first product I pulled out of the package is the Knockout Lip Gloss by Laritzy. This gloss feels lightweight and moisturizing, but what I really enjoy is its honey vanilla scent. This low-maintenance lip color is perfect for a travel day at the airport or a car trip. It retails for $16.
The next product I noticed is the Manna Kadar Lip Locked Priming Lipstick in Guilt is my favorite product in the bag this month! It’s a mix between red and fuchsia and glides on to a matte finish. I am also impressed that Lip Monthly included a higher quality $24 lipstick in the curated collection this month.
The third lip product included in this month’s bag is the Isabelle Dupont Perfect Lipstick in Alice Dupont. This bright pink shade is a little tough to wear, since it makes my teeth look a bit yellow, so I’ll definitely have to brush my teeth with a little baking soda before I swipe it on. Nevertheless, I commend Lip Monthly for getting me out of my comfort zone to try this bold shade that is on sale for $7. Do you ever wear bright pinks?
The last item is the traditional non-lip product. This one is a little lost on me since I have very blonde eyebrows, but they included a Lord and Berry Eyebrow Pencil in Brunette. I have absolutely no use for this pencil as a brow product, but if the formula holds up, I could use it as a lip pencil for my darker brown lipsticks. I repurpose beauty products all the time. Maybe this will fare well!
So, there you have it! This month’s $13 Lip Monthly was not my absolute favorite, but I know that I’ll get a lot of wear out of the Laritzy gloss and the Manna Kadar Guilt lippie. Which products do you like best?
