Weekly Wardrobe: Late November 2018

For the past few weeks, I’ve been loving this chilly weather and traveling! I’ve been to New Orleans for a French Conference (ACTFL, if you know of it) and Palmetto Bluff, South Carolina for Thanksgiving.  Needless to say, it’s been a busy and hurried month of living out of a suitcase, but I’ve enjoyed the fortune and adventure of traveling for work and play! Keep scrolling to see what I’ve worn this month and for cold weather outfit ideas.

For an easy brunch look, I love wearing Mac’s Russian Red lipstick with a simple black tee and jeans. Such a classic, 1950s pin-up look! My clogs are by Mia and my button-fly jeans are Madewell.
I wore this casual layered look for furniture shopping.  I found this size XS Mens J. Crew Flannel Shirt for $9 at Plato’s in White Bridge. The muted red checkered print feels very à la Madewell, for a fraction of the price.
This Thanksgiving look is what I wore to grab a cocktail (called the Elvis-a peanut bourbon and banana liqueur drink ) at Palmetto Bluff. This cream top is WHBM and it is just the prettiest party top for the holidays. Are you a fan of winter white, too?
Trying my hand at athleisure in my Athleta outfit. How pretty is this Christmas tree at the Montage Inn at Palmetto Bluff?
This is another Thanksgiving look that I adore for the holidays. You can’t go wrong with a festive blouse and metallic slingbacks. I found this Free People top from Plato’s and the heels on clearance for $14 from Aldo’s.
I wore this casual chic look to my French conference in New Orleans. I love how my clogs jazz up a simple thermal and jeans.
This is my favorite athleisure look that I’ve ever pulled off, y’all. Jean jacket, thermal tee, black jeans, and black Nikes. Seriously, so comfy and chic!
This workout look is worth mentioning because I’m excited about these striped Athleta leggings! I paired them with a navy tank and navy hoodie. Aren’t they fun?!
This teacher outfit makes me feel polished and cozy at the same time. Tie-blouses deliver instant polish to any office look.
While browsing audio books at McKay’s Used Books in my old Anthropologie corduroy jumpsuit (similar options)

I boldly wore a leather skirt to work yesterday and toned it down with a heavy chambray and cardigan. Would you wear a leather skirt to work?

Lipstick of the week

I have been wearing nonstop “Wine me, Dine me, ” a custom berry lipstick from Elea Blake. If you are ever in Chattanooga or their website, please support this amazing local makeup brand!

What did you think of my attempt at the athleisure trend? What are you wearing these days? Thanks for reading!
